Features a study co-authored by Caroline Hoxby, Professor of Economics and Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and SIEPR, and Sarah Turner of the University of Virginia, on their findings that the right intervention, such as providing certain types of information, can alter the college choices of high-achieving, low-income high school seniors, who might not otherwise apply to any competitive colleges.
