Victor R. Fuchs received his Ph.D. from Columbia University and his B.S. from New York University. He is the Henry J. Kaiser, Jr. Professor (Emeritus) at Stanford University. He was a professor in the Economics Department as well as the School of Medicine's Department of Health Research and Policy from 1974 to 1995.
