Alice M. Rivlin is a
Visiting Professor
at the Public Policy
Institute of Georgetown
University and a Senior
Fellow in the Economic
Studies program
at the Brookings
Institution. She is the Director of the
Greater Washington Research Program at
Brookings. Before returning to Brookings,
Ms. Rivlin served as Vice Chair of the
Federal Reserve Board and she was
Director and Deputy Director of the
White House Office of Management and
Budget. She was the founding Director of
the Congressional Budget Office.
Michael J. Boskin is
a Senior Fellow at the
Hoover Institution
and the Tully M.
Friedman Professor of
Economics at Stanford
University. He is
one of the founding
faculty members of SIEPR and a former
SIEPR director. He is also a SIEPR Senior
Fellow. Boskin is a former Chairman of
the President’s Council of Economic
Advisers (CEA) under President Bush and
also chaired the highly influential blue
ribbon congressional commission on the
Consumer Price Index. He is currently
an advisor to numerous government
agencies, both in the U.S. and abroad,
and serves on the Boards of Directors of
several corporations and foundations.
