Christina Gathmann

Christina Gathmann is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Economics at Stanford University, a Visiting Scholar of the Stanford Center for International Development (SCID) at Stanford University and a research fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). She earned her PhD from the University of Chicago in 2004. Her research interests are in labor economics, applied econometrics, public economics and industrial organization. Christina’s current work focuses on the effects of government policies in transition economies and the functioning of illegal markets.
