Michael J. Boskin

Michael J. Boskin is a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and the Tully M. Friedman Professor of Economics at Stanford University. He is one of the founding faculty members of SIEPR and a former SIEPR director. He is also a SIEPR Senior Fellow. Boskin is a former Chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) under President Bush and also chaired the highly influential blueribbon congressional commission on the Consumer Price Index. He is currently an advisor to numerous government agencies, both in the U.S. and abroad, and serves on the Boards of Directors of several corporations and foundations.
