SIEPR Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is composed of faculty from throughout Stanford University. The diverse opinions and perspectives of the committee members help in advising the director and guiding the institute on matters pertaining to research and academics.

Steering Committee members are scholars who are often called upon for advice and service at the state and federal level. Many of these economists have served as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers in the Bush (senior and junior) and Clinton administrations. They also have served at high-level positions in the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Labor Department, World Bank, Federal Communications Commission, and Federal Trade Commission.
