This program examines social and business policy issues at the state and local level. This program analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of many important policy programs such as welfare reform, childcare, and job training that are implemented on the state and local level.
The program produces the bi-monthly California Policy Review, which focuses attention on a particular state or local business or social policy issue. The goal of the publication is to provide independent analysis for policy makers. The project receives funding from SIEPR and the SPHERE Institute.
