The Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) awards the Claire and Ralph Landau Student Discussion Paper Prize for the best student-written SIEPR working paper.
The $2,500 prize is a tribute to the Landaus and their countless contributions to SIEPR and Stanford’s economics department. The range of eligible topics is as broad as Ralph Landau’s interests were in economics — papers can deal with any issue involving the formulation or evaluation of economic policy.
Submissions are accepted in the Spring quarter.
Requirements for submission:
1. Student papers must be approved for the SIEPR Discussion Paper Series by a Stanford faculty member to ensure the high quality of submissions.
2. Papers must be policy oriented.
3. Papers must contain an abstract.
4. Papers should be submitted to Rossannah Reeves in hard copy and electronic format with a note from the faculty member approving publication in the Discussion Paper Series
