The 39th annual Stanford SIEPR Summer Economic Institute for Teachers will take place from July 20 – 24, 2026. This is a free, week-long program, organized by Professors Ran Abramitzky, John Shoven, and Gavin Wright for high school and community college economics and social science teachers.

The broad theme this year will be “Tracking the Economy: Past and Future.” Speakers will focus on key economic concepts and policy issues, including: China’s economy and institutions; health economics and American health care policy; economic demography; personal finance; economic growth and innovation; and California education policy.
