This half-day forum, beginning with breakfast and coffee at 8:15 a.m., and concluding after lunch at 1:00 p.m., will bring together Stanford researchers interested in the social science of media, broadly defined. Participants will be drawn from a broad range of fields, including communication, political science, computer science, linguistics, economics, statistics, psychology, and engineering. Speakers will give informal presentations on past or current research. The event will be jointly sponsored by the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) and the Cyber Policy Center (CPC). Detailed schedule will be shared closer to the event date.
