Join SIEPR and the King Center on Global Development on September 28 from 4-6:00 pm PDT for an Associates Meeting with David Malpass, President at World Bank Group. Malpass will discuss how conditions for developing countries risk going from bad to worse even if advanced countries stabilize.

About the Speaker

David Malpass

David R. Malpass is the 13th President of the World Bank Group.  He previously served as Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs for the United States. Mr. Malpass has represented the United States in international settings, including the G-7 and G-20 Deputy Finance Ministerial, World Bank–IMF Spring and Annual Meetings, and meetings of the Financial Stability Board, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.
