Dev Davis

Councilmember, City of San Jose

Councilmember Dev Davis represents District 6 in the City of San Jose. District 6 includes Willow Glen, the Rose Garden, Santana Row, The Alameda, and many other great neighborhoods.
Dev Davis has over a decade of experience as an education researcher for Stanford University's Center for Research on Education Outcomes (CREDO). She has a strong interest in community engagement and has served as president of the North Willow Glen Neighborhood Association and Public Relations Chair for the Sherman Oaks neighborhood partnership with KaBOOM!, a non-profit that helps communities create playgrounds. Dev has also served as the Chair of the San José Early Care and Education Commission and on the Junior League of California's State Public Affairs Committee. As part of the Committee, Dev was heavily involved in a number of initiatives, including successfully advocating for several bills to fight human trafficking. Dev and her husband Chris have two children who attend Willow Glen Elementary School and Hoover Middle School. She has a Bachelor's degree in economics and Master's degrees in Public Policy & Policy, Organization, and Leadership from Stanford University.
