Carolyn Stein

Carolyn Stein is a postdoctoral fellow working on topics at the intersection of labor economics and the economics of science and innovation. Her current work focuses on how incentives and competition in science shape the quality of basic research. She received her PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2021 and AB in applied mathematics from Harvard University in 2013.
