Daniel Waldinger
Dan is an empirical economist working at the intersection of market design, industrial organization, and public finance. His current research focuses on the design of waiting lists for housing and healthcare, and regulation of rental housing markets.
Dan is an assistant professor in the NYU economics department and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He joined NYU economics in Fall 2019 after a post-doc at the NYU Furman Center.
