Fabian Eckert
Fabian Eckert is an assistant professor of economics at the University of California, San Diego, currently on sabbatical at Stanford. His research spans international trade, spatial economics, and macroeconomics, with a focus on how the geography of economic activity shapes growth and inequality. Recent work develops theory and methods for combinatorial discrete choice problems, with an application to multinational production, and studies how housing markets act as a constraint on aggregate growth. He teaches undergraduate and PhD courses in trade and spatial economics, and received his PhD from Yale University.
