George Morgan is the facilities and technology manager at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). He has been with SIEPR for more than 15 years, starting as facilities manager when SIEPR moved into the newly built John A. and Cynthia Fry Gunn Building. George also manages the conference services area and SIEPR's receptionist.
Before coming to Stanford, George worked for several Silicon Valley companies, including Apple Computer, Netscape Communications, and Sun Microsystems. George also used his California teaching credential to do computer instruction through the Sunnyvale School District.
George earned his bachelor's in environmental studies and planning at Sonoma State University, and a multiple subject credential at Cal Poly Pomona.
In his free-time, George fosters rescue kittens, plays tournament pickleball, and hikes the foothills with his semi-retired service dog, Remi.
