Henrike Steimer is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Susan Athey's lab at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. In her research, she is particularly interested in the impact of new technologies and digitization on firm growth, firm organization, and labor markets. Further, she studies how remaining geographic frictions affect firms' managerial organization. She holds a PhD in Economics from LMU Munich where she was a member of the research training group Microeconomic Determinants of Labor Productivity and the Collaborative Research Center Transregio "Rationality and Competition". Her supervisors were Monika Schnitzer, Florian Englmaier, and Oliver Falck.
