José Ignacio Cuesta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Stanford University. He is an applied microeconomist with a focus on industrial organization and public economics. His research focuses on issues of competition and regulation of credit, health care and pharmaceutical markets. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2019, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at SIEPR from 2019 to 2020.
