Juan Carlos Suárez Serrato is The Edward B. Rust Professor of Economics at Stanford Graduate School of Business and a faculty associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is also the Jose E. Feliciano and Kwanza Jones SUPERCHARGED Faculty Fellow for the 2022-25 academic years. He was previously a Professor of Economics at Duke University and a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. He received a Ph.D. in economics from UC Berkeley, a B.A. in economics and mathematics from Trinity University, and he is a proud graduate of the AEA Summer Training Program in Economics.
