Judson Boomhower is an applied microeconomist who studies environmental and energy economics and policy.  His research covers a range of topics including pollution prevention in oil and gas extraction, household energy efficiency decisions in Mexico, and the economics of wildfires and climate change. He received a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stanford.
