Lisa Hansmann

Lisa Hansmann is a fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. She has held multiple roles in economic policy and energy. She served in the Biden White House as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor, where she worked on issues at the intersection of energy and industrial strategy at the National Economic Council and in the Chief of Staff’s Office. Lisa previously worked as a Principal at Engine Ventures, where she focused on investments in early-stage climate and energy companies, and as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company. Lisa holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A. from Yale University.
