Mitsuru (Michi) IGAMI is a Visiting Assistant Professor at SIEPR (July 2014 – June 2015), and an Assistant Professor of Economics at Yale Department of Economics. His research focuses on the strategic industry dynamics of the process of creative destruction, through which both firms and technologies turn over. His papers have empirically investigated the markets for hard disk drives, hamburger chains, coffee beans, and supermarkets. He received his PhD from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2012.
