Victoria Udalova is a research economist at the Center for Economic Studies at the U.S. Census Bureau. She has published articles in leading peer-reviewed economics journals, including the Journal of Health Economics. She leads the Census Bureau’s initiative to combine health records with Census data to expand research possibilities, particularly around social determinants of health. Victoria received her PhD in economics from the University of Wisconsin in 2015. Previously, Victoria was an economist at Wisconsin’s Department of Workforce Development, where she managed production of employment projections and designed a model forecasting supply and demand for registered nurses.
