Jaclyn Gioiosa

Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR)

As SIEPR’s Digital Engagement Manager, Jaclyn manages the institute’s strategic and day-to-day digital media efforts, such as email campaigns, social media engagements, and website content. A member of SIEPR’s communications team, Jaclyn’s role is focused on thoughtfully increasing engagement with an audience of policymakers, journalists, and academics.

Before coming to Stanford, Jaclyn spent five years as the communications associate and social media manager for the Northern California Innocence Project, a clinical program based at Santa Clara University School of Law, and served as Tom Steyer’s social media manager during his presidential run last election season. Most recently, she’s worked as a freelance social media consultant for several mission-driven clients, including Colorado’s Secretary of State, Jena Griswold, and The 97 Percent, a bipartisan gun safety nonprofit.

Jaclyn is from San Jose, Calif. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English (Creative Writing emphasis) from University of San Francisco, and a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Education (Alternative & Correctional Education emphasis) from Santa Clara University.
