The SIEPR Visiting Fellows program supports junior faculty with a track record of producing outstanding economics research on policy-relevant topics.
Visiting Fellows are active in the intellectual life of SIEPR and are a part of the Young Scholars program. Free from teaching or administrative responsibilities, they focus on their research and participate in working groups, seminars, and other activities at Stanford. We seek applicants who are non-tenured junior faculty with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, who completed their PhD within the last 5 years.
Visiting Fellows are expected to be on leave from their home academic institutions and to be in residence at SIEPR for a full academic year. SIEPR provides partial salary support equal to half of their academic year salary at their home institution.
