Health Care Spending and the Federal Budget

Gopi Shah Goda is a Research Scholar and Coordinator of the Postdoctoral Fellows Program at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. She is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Gopi’s research interests include public finance, aging, health and retirement policy. Prior to joining SIEPR, she was a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy Research at Harvard University. She received her B.S. in Mathematics and Actuarial Science at the University of Nebraska in 2000, and her Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University in 2007.
