Julian is an Assistant Professor at Stanford Law School, where he examines how insights from computational linguistics can be used to study questions of social scientific and legal importance. Julian's primary focus lies on contract law and design. In addition, he frequently collaborates with other researchers to work on projects across a diverse group of subjects, such as algorithmic fairness, criminal law and intellectual property.
