Our programs are offered to people at all different stages in their careers from students, recent graduates, and research professionals.

Undergraduate Students
Matriculated Stanford undergraduates are eligible for paid research assistant positions during the academic year and summer.

Graduate Students
Stanford graduate students can apply for fellowship opportunities and/or research support.

Predoctoral Research Fellows Program
Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree program and are interested in full-time 1-2 year research opportunities can apply for SIEPR predoctoral fellowships on a rolling basis beginning in the fall.

New and Recent PhDs
Job market candidates and junior faculty within five years of PhD completion are eligible for SIEPR’s Young Scholars program, with priority application deadlines in the fall.

Visiting Faculty Program
Faculty at other institutions working with SIEPR-affiliated faculty can apply for short- and long-term visits to SIEPR on a rolling basis.

Faculty Resources
SIEPR provides several resources and mentorship opportunities to its affiliated faculty at Stanford to catalyze and support policy-relevant research.
